Damages  is an American legal thriller television series based on the complicated relationship between the famous   lawyer Patty Hewes (Glenn Close) and Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne), a young ambitious lawyer. The story is located in New York and the city is surely a important part of the show. This story of ambition, work and conspiration fits perfectly with the idea that people have of New York city about its urban glamour.  The title song is “When I Am Through with You” by The VLA and the video b by the graphic design firm BigStar  shows a very dramatic city, reminding us of its financial power and contradictions.
